What is the HOTD Marketplace?
Hadith of the Day has been serving the global Muslim community for 10 years now, Alhamdulillah! We have launched the HOTD marketplace which is a direct to consumer store. HOTD is simply a shop front and we do not sell any products ourselves. We simply facilitate the sale of goods through our store between seller and consumer. This one stop shop for all your needs allows sellers to market their products direct to consumers.
Why is HOTD doing a Marketplace?
We have been contacted by thousands of companies over the years wanting to sell their products through HOTD and to our audience. The solution to putting an individual, small business or company’s product in front of our audience was through the Marketplace which allows us to facilitate an environment where buyers and sellers can transact without compromising on our data and privacy integrity. We also have been approached by many individuals and small businesses who do not have the means to get their products out in stores or to a wider audience, but their products are both innovative and relevant to the Muslim consumer market. The HOTD Marketplace now gives new entrepreneurs the opportunity to put their product in front of an audience.
Who Owns the Products Listed on HOTD Marketplace?
All products on the HOTD Marketplace are owned and sold by the sellers of the product. HOTD takes no responsibility for any of the products and simply facilitate the transaction. The Marketplace is made up of a variety of sellers and details of the seller is provided on purchase.
How do I buy an item on HOTD Marketplace?
HOTD has made the buying process as simple as possible, replicating buying an item in a store. You go into the store, find what you want to buy and pay for it. The same way, you browse our marketplace just as you would any website. We have categories for different types of items but you’re free to take a browse anywhere and find what you want or just be inspired by what’s on sale. On each product listing you’ll find a description, images and any reviews that other users have left. If you want to purchase the item, simply click add to basket. When you have finished shopping, click Proceed to Checkout, enter your shipping and billing details to allow shipping costs to be worked out, then click PayPal to pay. You can log in to your PayPal account if you have one or pay as a guest. That’s it! You’ll receive an email confirmation of your order and the seller will ship to you within the timeframe stated on the listing.
Do I need to sign up for an account?
Buyers are not required to have an account with HOTD Marketplace just as you would not have an account before entering a physical store. You are free to browse, search for products and if you find something you like, make a purchase with no obligation to have an account with us or the seller. Sellers are required to have an account with us in order to facilitate their products being put up on our marketplace. This can be done through the Sign Up link on the top right of this site.
What about deliveries?
Once you have entered your delivery address, a shipping price is calculated based on information provided by the seller. The product will then be despatched by the seller via domestic or international post. All product prices and shipping prices are determined by the seller and not HOTD.
What if I have a problem with my order?
In the first instance, contact the seller who has sold you the product. In most cases, they will resolve any issues you have with a product or your order. If you are having technical issues with the HOTD Marketplace or website, please contact us by emailing engage@hadithoftheday.com.

The HOTD Marketplace is owned and operated by Hadith of the Day (HOTD). Our main website is www.hadithoftheday.com where you will find Islamic articles, inspiration, a sign up to our mailing list to receive a hadith a day and links to all our social media platforms including Facebook, twitter and instagram. This Marketplace connects sellers and buyers and HOTD do not sell any products on the marketplace.
